How to connect to UMCG network

UMCG computers managed by MIT (The central ICT dept.)

You can use:

• Wired UMCG network connection using 802.1X (machine can authenticate as it is known)
• UMCG WiFi network connection
• eduroam WiFi network connection, but:
  • WARNING: Unstable and slow performance on 5th floor in 3211.
    Reason is that UMCG eduroam interferes with RUG eduroam. Therefore UMCG eduroam is currently disabled on the 5th floor of 3211.
    When on the 5th floor of 3211 you either get the UMCG eduroam from the 6th floor or RUG eduroam from the 4th floor.
    Due to the thick concrete floor the signal is poor.

You can use:
